Verified ReviewerEBay endorses the sale of FDA regulated drugs after the expiration date. This is illegal. When I objected to a posting for this reason, and was told it did not violate their policy.
eBay supports the sale of illegal "drugs" in the way of FDA regulated products. They list these products as "NEW" when they are in fact expired and a public health risk. They are aware of the issue but it is a marketing strategy and legality is ignored for profit.
which FDA says is fraud. These products cannot be NEW and expired because expired drugs are considered a potential health and safety risk.
It's illegal to sell expired regulated drugs primarily under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FD&C Act), as expired drugs are considered "misbranded" or potentially "adulterated," lacking proven safety and efficacy, a rule enforced by the FDA, especially through acts like the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) of 1987, which added safeguards against expired drugs entering the market. State laws often mirror this, with many defining sales after the expiration date as illegal misbranding due to potential loss of potency.
Key Federal Laws & Concepts: FD&C Act (21 U.S.C. § 352): This foundational law deems a drug "misbranded" if its label doesn't bear adequate directions for use or if it's false or misleading, including expiration dates that ensure potency and safety.
Selling an expired drug violates this by selling a product whose quality isn't guaranteed. Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) (1987): Strengthened the FD&C Act to prevent expired, counterfeit, or substandard drugs from entering the legitimate supply chain, emphasizing consumer safety. National Drug Code (NDC) and Expiration Dating: The FDA requires all commercial drugs to have an NDC and a clear expiration date, ensuring stability and efficacy, making sales past this date a violation of these rules.
Why it's Illegal: Loss of Potency: After the expiration date, a drug may lose its strength, meaning it might not work as intended. Safety Concerns: Some expired drugs can degrade into harmful substances.
Misbranding: Selling an expired drug misrepresents its quality and safety, violating the FD&C Act.
In essence, the combination of the FD&C Act, PDMA, and related FDA regulations makes selling expired drugs a federal offense because they are no longer guaranteed safe and effective for public consumption.
While eBay claims to follow federal and state laws, it doesn't. It is open and defiant in their corruption, probably because they can and it is profitable. I have made a complaint to eBay corporate, PayPal, FDA, L'Oreal (manufacturer of product), and my Visa card.
BTW, Visa had no problem refunding my money when I explained the product is contraband and being illegally sold.
So far no response from anyone else. Letters were sent certified mail because on-line portals are protected by firewalls and AI nonsense handling.
User's recommendation: BUYER BEWARE on eBay. Vendors are protected from legal compliance. To get a refund, you are more likely to have a favorable outcome by going directly to your credit card and reporting fraud.

I was scammed
Horrible
I was scammed by a seller saying they sell shoes. They used counterfeit postage on my item, and it was seized by the government. I do not recommend ever buying from this site.

First of all, you go and bill me $86 for shipping a $43 shipping label. Then you don't send me my $104 from selling the 'Walking on the Moon' newspaper, New York Times from 1969, that has already been delivered happily and signed for, etc.
And you say that my funds have been released, but they haven't because I haven't gotten any funds. I haven't gotten any money at all.

Wrong part arrived
I ordered an exterior rear view mirror for my 2007 BMW 328i; however, the one delivered is slightly larger, and the mounts are spaced differently. It will not fit my 2007 with M package. Can I return it and get the correct one?

Resolved: Refund!
I ordered a 6 pack of spray paint and only got 1 can. The seller said that he refunded eBay; eBay said they refunded my bank, but I told them that the account that was used to purchase was closed.
My bank said if they tried to refund, it would be sent back, but they would have recorded it. My bank doesn't have it, so eBay should at least give me the credit to use or refund through PayPal or Zelle, etc.

Not recieving item due to the shipper (ebay) not putting the proper address on package causing FedEx to deliver my package to the wrong address.
Because my address was not on the package I am not allowed to start a case file. The order number was 22-1410*-***23.
The shipping number through FedEx was 888159****01. I needed the log tongs because I can't move the logs around to provide heat in the home for the wife and I because we're up in age.

I have tried everything for 3 days straight and no one can help me
I ordered an item as a direct customer from eBay and I did not have the app downloaded. eBay's automated service said it didn't see my order.
They only saw an order I previously ordered. I have followed the orders to get my item refunded but nothing works. I also talked to the person at the store where the item came from, but he said I need to talk to eBay. I've tried to contact them but keep getting an automated system and no real live person to help me.
So no, my issue is not resolved. I have called 4 different telephone numbers trying to get a live person to help me resolve my issue at eBay, but no real live people are responding.

No one sells on ebay because they have too much money. Ebay makes sure that you surrender every penny that they can scam out of a seller. Everytime.
This is exactly why they have a 1.8 customer satisfaction score on this site. They absolutely embrace the worst attributes of any dishonest or illegal business.
I have known drug dealers with more moral fiber than this pile of carp business. Seriously.
It's not just fees. It's not just unfair policies. It's everything that ebay represents.
They got paid for my item. They say they will release the funds so I can ship the item. ($190.00 according to their calculations) They have not released the funds. And I'm not shipping until they do.
At every turn, this company sucks. They collect fees on taxes and shipping, they encourage sellers to give refunds when the seller does everything right. They treat sellers like *** at every turn.
They FORCE you into "applying" for arbitration. And the user agreement doesn't allow you to file a lawsuit for doing things ebay KNOWS to be illegal.
It's really an absolutely disgusting business. From the hiring of non-english speaking customer service people, to trick-tricking sellers out of the little profit they might be lucky enough to make.
There is a special place in he'll for this sack of carp company. May they find themselves in bankruptcy court, (no arbitration for you!) VERY SOON.

Requesting a refund for a non-responding seller
Made an offer on a bike then the offer expired without seller contact. I then made the purchase on the bike for asking price and messaged the seller three times with no response even after I purchased it.
I want a refund and I want it now because theyre not gonna get back to me. There are no options for buyers when they are supposed to pick up an item that was paid, for just fraudulent claims.
This really sucks because I feel like Im getting screwed. I want my money.
