I made my order and expected delivery time was shown between 8/29/23- 9/2/23. I have my small baby with me to travel and needed the mattress for her crib to spend a night in our new leased apartment.
It was long weekend . We ended up staying in hotel and spent $280 for 1 night only because it it was book at a very last second. So one small crib mattress that was supposedly to be delivered didnt arrive even after a day or 2 so we ended up to stay 2nd and 3 nd day in a hotel. I cam back home (old) and since it is state to state move we have arranged to permanently move in 2 weeks.
And have no clue if that item will stay there by then. ebay has no support at all and neither seller and nor ebay helped me with the issue. When I wanted to close my account the rep Rae was happily guided me how to close long term customer account. So RAE , the rep dont care about retaining customer relationship .
Stay away from EBAY.
This company is used to be a perfect place to purchase whatever you could find in any online market and I personally felt very protected but not NOW
Dont buy anything from the seller tailstories. The seller is not sending items on time and has no solution to offer.

I sent Abu Garcia reels to the buyer's address. I sent the buyer a copy of the tracking number receipt, which I have.
Also, I was told by an eBay representative that he believed I sent the items. I did! They were my deceased father's fishing reels. I sent them.
The tracking says the buyer received them.
Yet, I get penalized and my account is suspended. Ridiculous!

Although I provided eBay with the email from USPS that the carrier deliver my package to the wrong address and could not get it back, they denied honoring their “eBay Guarantee”. eBay stated because the online tracking info states IIt was delivered to my address.
Then USPS is giving me a hassle about honoring their responsibility. It’s good to do business with eBay or USPS.
They chose USPS, I didnt. USPS provided a report of their investigation and stated clearly the error was by their carrier. The seller is bogusly claiming to stand by the tracking info but not the investigation. eBay is supporting them.
The seller stated in an email to me that they believe I did not receive the package in an email to me after I provided them the USPS email about what happened. This seller is a dishonest and unethical business because it knows the truth and refuses to refund my money. eBay is nothing like Amazon or any other ethically sound online business because it operates as a Buyer Beware strategically positioned business. But, eBay falsely claims to have a Buyer Protection program to prevent these types of actions but it seems they are dishonest and misrepresents the truth regarding transaction protection for the buyer.
I will be contacting the U.S. Dept of Commerce and other governmental entities that will launch an investigation into deceptive representation of online businesses.

Thank you. The item did not include the software, and the manufacturer no longer supports this item and no longer has it on their website for download. Additionally, the operating systems that were mentioned for Mac computers are no longer being supported by Mac.
As such, this item is unable to run on my computer; it is useless to me. Thanks, Frank Montoya.

I ordered an expensive Christmas gift for my daughter on eBay about a month ago and never received it. I got a USPS tracking number for the item when it allegedly shipped that said it was expected to be delivered on December 21.
On the 19th, the seller contacted me and told me that a courier was attempting to deliver my item. When I answered the door, it was an Amazon delivery driver who brought a package addressed to me but he refused to let me take possession of it without a password. I was never given one and wasnt expecting anything from Amazon. Why would I get the item from Amazon when it was shipped with USPS?
Needless to say, It did not arrive, and the seller ignored my messages. I turned to eBay for help, but they wouldnt even discuss the issue with me. Any time I requested a call from customer service, the phone would ring, but as soon as I picked up the call they hung up on me. I submitted a report anyway, and within a day they closed my case without even speaking with me or investigating the matter.
They said that the package was scanned as delivered by USPS and that was that. I did some research and became aware of a scam where thieves will have you pay for an item on eBay then ship a worthless package to the wrong address to get a tracking number that they can use to get eBay to release the money you paid to them. Apparently eBay doesnt do any kind of verification of the tracking numbers to see if the addresses match, so this is a gaping vulnerability. Nobody is safe from scams because of this, and eBay knows it but they still want your money.
Thats why they dont help you when the scammers rip you off. The insurance I wasted $20 on for the item proved worthless as well, because it wont cover a loss in shipping, just damage. Even if they did, the tracking number makes it appear that I DID receive the item and would invalidate my claim. eBay should be shut down just like Silk Road and AlphaBay.
Nothing but a bunch of crooks making money off you by allowing scammers to do this kind of swindling on their website.
I would give 0 stars if I could. I hope eBay goes straight to *** and roasts for eternity with the *** who use it to steal kids Christmas gifts from people who actually earn their money instead of just being a *** head leech with a computer in their grandmas basement.

I'm still waiting package still sitting at FedEx Olive Branch location hasn't moved since October 8th FedEx won't let me pick it up and telling me to contact seller it was brought through eBay from company called Auto all part my item is no longer available can you believe it and no one it either companies eBay or all auto parts has a customer service that I can talk to..
I still haven't received the item I bought on October 31st, 2024. eBay has failed to reach out to me or refund my money.
I will never shop with eBay again. I am very upset.

I would rather die than use eBay again
Story over. I sent in the signed affidavit. They don’t care nor have they ever cared about me as a frequent buyer and a casual seller.
I literally just spoke to 19 representatives before one would tell me where the tracking number showed delivery. Prior to call 19, all I had was the zip code of my hometown and delivered. Subsequently, through customer representative 19, I learned it was delivered to my parent's address. I couldn't find my parent's address anywhere on my account either, and neither could the representative. It was returned to my parent's address, which I cannot find anywhere on my account. They don't have it, their neighbors don't have it. I certainly don't have it. Nor were any of us expecting it to go there because they're not on my account.
I'm not a reseller. Just a person selling out of their closet. I do purchase frequently, hence, the need to sometimes sell. I'm not cut out for being jerked around on a total of 25 different phone calls where I followed the first 18 representatives' directions in real-time on the phone, and received contradictory information on calls 18-25.
I filled out an affidavit. Nope - tracking says it was delivered, according to eBay it was delivered. I was told I could have claimed I received XYZ in lieu of my bag and would've won. The problem with that is, I'm actually an honest person. Who would do that? I don't want to be worse than the buyer that totally scammed me. They won't even let me close my account until October 6.
When I asked if there was any way, I could get myself banned prior to October 6, the customer service representative suggested I either list something illegal or a known counterfeit. What type of business tells you to commit a crime? It's insane. The sad fact is no one should be cut out for eBay because of the way sellers are treated. I trusted them. I spent a lot of money as a buyer and paid a considerable amount of money to them as a seller.
I took photos of the package and postal receipt for the buyer. I sent tracking updates to the buyer. I had 24 pictures, a manufacturer number, and a scannable QR code for this bag. I literally did everything I was supposed to do. 30 days later SNAD. The buyer even admitted they had found the bag cheaper at an outlet.
I never received the return and was unable to document the condition of the bag because I didn't receive it. I cannot document thin air, and I absolutely refused to lie. eBay chose to break the trust that 16 sales representatives created, as they directed me through the return process step-by-step in real time on the phone.
They refused to take my word. Now I'm out a $400 NWT bag, the $200 refund to the lovely buyer, and $66 in fees. It's a catch 22. They literally closed my second appeal via email while I was on the phone with a customer service representative taking notes about my appeal case. How is that even possible?
I lost more than an expensive bag and $266. I lost respect and trust for eBay itself. I'm going to say politely that I'm disappointed and not willing to lose anything again. I guess that quote about trust being earned over time and lost in a second is completely true. eBay will eventually fold. If there's nothing to sell, there's no one to buy.

I added 1 of the emails that was sent to me from a customer support representative. I found out from a nice customer support lady that the address that he was referring to is mine and that the entire e-mail is a lie.
They offered me my money back and I said no and that I would see them in small claims court. No refund as of yet.
They offered me the 8.64 today and said they apologize about the mis delivery. It wasn't a mis delivery; it was delivered to where it was addressed to. They just don't get it.

Terrible. E-Bay removed my negative feedback and chose Rapid_52 side in this case showing preferential treatment.
Rapid_52 is out of Israel. Do not purchase anything from them. Lisa is the cause and is trouble. She lied when she updated the shipping dates and E-Bay lied about a so called 3rd party freight forwarder.
We'll see how the detailed report to E-Bay management turns out today. Unfortunately neither E-Bay or Rapid_52 has given me the benefit of the doubt and picked up a telephone to contact the post office to show I have been right all along. Favoritism is garbage and unfair. Stop using E-Bay.

The tracking number showed it as delivered on Sept 06. When ever I get anything from the postal service it always goes into my locked mailbox. If the item is too large it goes into a large box and the key goes in my locked box. At no time in the 2 years that I have lived at this address has the mailman delivered anything to my door.
The delivery stated that it was placed on my porch or front door which I have neither. I have a side door to the condo. I frantically looked high and low, no package. I called the post office and the clerk stated that it was delivered but not to your address.
Due to regulations the clerk could not give me the address that was on the label. I contacted the seller and told them and they said give it a few more days which I did,. nothing. I filed a grievance with ebay explaining that it did not come here and told them that they need to confirm my findings by calling USPS.
They did not and denied my claim. I appealed and they wouldn't even look at the appeal and denied my claim and closed the case. I contacted the seller and again they would not call. I get an email from a rep.
from ebay last evening that when I checked out my item I chose to use a 3rd party freight forwarder and to contact them for the package. I have no idea what that is. Went around the blind side of ebay because they would not allow me to phone in any longer. I spoke to the nicest lady in customer service and she filed a detailed report about my experience and submitted it to ebay management.
Las evening I sent all documentation as well as the rotten treatment I have been receiving. I sent 10 emails to his office with no response. She was reading an internal report that said that it may have been stolen after it was delivered amongst other lies because my address is the only address in the ebay account. 12 yrs.
with e-bay not 1 issue. Everything delivered. Now know one believes me the seller doesn't have to pay me my money back and won't call the post office nor will they give me the address it was shipped to. The nice lady stated once more that they claimed my address is a 3rd party freight forwarding address and no other address on file.
Due to this type of harassment I have become very ill and I am disabled with a bad heart. If you have been treated the same way with e-bay report it but what good will it do. You can't force someone to make a phone call. I am done with e-bay never to spend another dime with them.
I also filed a report with the BBB no answer as of yet.
I am checking on small claims court. Not so much the 8.64 but the attitudes.

When will someone, anyone, call me back live? What is wrong with eBay's service to all involved?
It is so unprofessional. The chat message does not provide one-on-one communication. They have a simple sentence already programmed. I purchased an LV card on 9/22/24 with order number 10-1210*-***16.
They never sent the item, nor would they provide me with a tracking number. I have sent over ten messages only to be ignored. All eBay did was message me and I was told to message them. They never responded.
Now it says cancel. I want my refund as soon as possible.

I bought a refrigerator, they used ups at first ,UPS lost the delivery, I have a screenshot of it of the seller telling me that the product was lost and they reissued another one, sent it to the wrong address, post office say the addresses don't match but they still deny my claim even though I have proof that I didn't get to the delivery ,the post office says they will tell eBay that I did not get the delivery if they just call them, now by that being said that tells me that whoever done the claim did not do it thoroughly because if I can make a phone call to the post office and they tell me the seller made a mistake and gave them the wrong address, why they didn't the claim adjuster see that, that that tells me that whoever handle the claim didn't even bother to put too much effort into it ,just denied my claim and make it impossible for me to get back in touch with them and let them know they made a mistake

eBay has absolutely gone so far on that pendulum towards the buyer that they have forgotten without sellers they have no product. Seller protection is literally a joke.
You really don’t have any recourse and you can take out all the way up to the sworn affidavit. It doesn’t matter matter at all, comes down to a tracking number and if it says delivered or not. The actual problem is you can speak to 20 different customer service representatives, and You will get different answers. I get they don’t trust me or my word.
The problem is with a company that large when I’m relying on them to tell me what to do I should be able to trust them.

I absolutely agree. eBay actively encourages buyers to use the return policy with an INAD as a free for all.
They can guide me on 19 phone calls. I never received my bag back. I refunded the buyer two dollars. I was charged $66 in fees.
They’re already adding taxes and shipping into their percentage that they take. You have to advertise at whatever percentage to get Your item even viewed.
It’s insane, and most likely illegal. Yes, they really don’t care since their top executive is been indicted For intimidating someone who spoke out against them.
