On November 5th, 2024, I went there to retrieve them it was two empty iPhones boxes that were mailed to me. Right inside the Post Office on 1799 NW 28th Street Allapattah, Miami FL 33142 I called eBay and made a report to claim a refund the next day Wednesday November 6th, 2024 an e-mail was sent to me to return the items received then on Friday I received another e-mail stated that the refund will be made to me on November 13th, 2024. So on November 17th, 2024, two other e-mails were sent to me one stated about suspended my account with eBay and the other stipulated that I did excessive abuse of customer protection that no refund will be made I did call and spoke to Kervin an eBay teammate claim who guaranteed me that as per the e-mail regarding the refund I have to wait until the given date November 13th, 2024. On November 20th, 2024, I called again then talked to Robert an eBay teammate who rudely emphasized that there will be no refund made to me if I did not the e-mail from from November 17th before hanged up the phone that I had to contact the seller myself which I did not have no contact located in Hong Kong named Onlinerave.
So last Wednesday the 20th I called again and spoke to Cassandra another eBay teammate who urged me to wait for a follow up e-mail from the seller until yesterday I called their system only gave me online option which impossible because they had suspended my account. I'm reaching out to BBC to file this complaint for my stolen money.
N-B I purchased other stuffs from eBay like two (2) Guaravera shirts one (1) pants, and on (1) loafers shoes under $50.00 all of them were received except for those two (2) new iPhones 13Pro Max for an huge amount of $1,871.41 till today my money is vanished leaving me a crucial financial situation.

I cannot begin to explain how upset I am with the experience I have had with eBay: I purchased the item as per the description only to receive a completely different item and now I am having to drive to USPS which is 20 minutes away from my house to ship the item back in order to get my money back. This is time and money wasted for me and my original payment being held hostage by the seller until they receive the item back - I spoke with eBay over the phone numerous times asking for a refund as per the 100% money back guarantee promise and yet this has not happened.
I will never again trust eBay to protect me - the Customer - from wrong doing by the seller. Shame on me if I ever trust e at again for another purchase. I have wasted time and money only to end up without the item I ordered.
Why would I ever trust eBay again??? Would you?

On May 3rd, I placed an order on eBay for two refrigerator door parts from a seller. On May 6th, I received the package, but only one item was inside.
The shipping label on the parcel clearly stated 1 piece, which confirms that only one item was sent.
I contacted the seller on the same day to report the issue, but received no response. On May 9th, I escalated the case through eBay and requested a refund for the missing item.
On May 18th, eBay closed the case, simply stating that the seller claimed the item was shipped. No further verification was done, and my refund request was denied without any review of the actual evidence despite the shipping label clearly proving the short shipment.
I find this kind of customer service absolutely unacceptable.
eBay failed to investigate properly, ignored obvious facts, and chose to blindly side with the seller. This was my first time using eBay and definitely the last.

I made my order and expected delivery time was shown between 8/29/23- 9/2/23. I have my small baby with me to travel and needed the mattress for her crib to spend a night in our new leased apartment.
It was long weekend . We ended up staying in hotel and spent $280 for 1 night only because it it was book at a very last second. So one small crib mattress that was supposedly to be delivered didnt arrive even after a day or 2 so we ended up to stay 2nd and 3 nd day in a hotel. I cam back home (old) and since it is state to state move we have arranged to permanently move in 2 weeks.
And have no clue if that item will stay there by then. ebay has no support at all and neither seller and nor ebay helped me with the issue. When I wanted to close my account the rep Rae was happily guided me how to close long term customer account. So RAE , the rep dont care about retaining customer relationship .
Stay away from EBAY.
This company is used to be a perfect place to purchase whatever you could find in any online market and I personally felt very protected but not NOW

Ik had bij dit 3D printer bedrijf een model motor brug gekocht ik dacht een van schaal 1 24. Bij afleveren zag ik dat het een zeer klein kut dingetje was wat ook niet inelkaar wilde blijven zitten.
Ik had dus niets aan dat miniatuur kut ding. Bij contact met de verkoper zegt die vent dat dat dingetje schaal 1 18 is. 1 18 is een enorme schaal en ik paste een model motor schaal 1 18 op dat miniatuur dingetje en dat paste natuurlijk niet dat motor bruggetje paste 3 x in mijn motor. Ik ben in de maling genomen door dat 3D printer bedrijf.
En dan heeft die vent nog het lef te zeggen dat het niet zijn schuld is, WTF hij stuurt toch een kabouter motor bruggetje van 10 cm. Ik raad iedereen af iets te kopen van dit bedrijf wat zit op Ebay want je krijgt rotzooi geleverd.

I have purchased an item on eBay. The seller sent my order to the wrong address and also the wrong name on my package, which I have proof of after contacting UPS.
I have reached out to the seller, and he doesn't respond to me for his proof of address he has sent my package to, and also the name on the package. Up to date, June 19th, 2025, I cannot get a refund or my package. eBay has closed my case without the proper proof of where the seller had sent my package, and I have not received my refund. I am lost for words knowing the fact that I have my proof of receipt where the seller has sent my package; the address is wrong, and the name on the package is wrong.
I have spent $111 and did not receive my package. I am so frustrated and very disgruntled over the fact that eBay has my correct address and the seller used my correct information. eBay, do better.
I am a customer for over 14 years, and I have never been through this situation before. Let me have my order or my money back.

I am writing to formally report two fraudulent claims made against me by buyers on eBay regarding items sold in good faith. One claim involves a sealed Apple product, and the other concerns an Apple Series 7 blue open box watch.
Both buyers have made false claims about the condition of the items, which were shipped in the exact condition as described in the listings. Importantly, both items were received and handled by third-party courier services, not directly by the buyers themselves, which casts further doubt on the claims being made.
I have already reported both buyers to eBay, and I have evidence that their claims are fraudulent. I am also taking legal action to address this matter. Specifically, I have reported the cases to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the FBI, and the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). Additionally, I have contacted the Dominican Republic Consulate as the third-party couriers involved are based in Miami, FL, and operated by Dominican Republic-based businesses.

This fraudulent activity has caused significant harm to my business, and I have also escalated this issue to the President of the United States. I am fully committed to pursuing legal action against the buyers, and I am seeking eBay's support to resolve these claims.
Please note that I will not be directly resolving this matter with the buyers and will rely on eBay's legal department to assist in the appropriate resolution of these cases. I expect eBay to take action and assist in holding these buyers accountable for their fraudulent behavior.

Again, an eBay buyer has unlawfully retained our merchandise without providing any financial compensation, and eBay not only allowed it but was complicit in the theft. We are entitled to a refund of $24.99 under eBay’s seller protection policy.
This is indisputable. A minimal review of the complaint details would highlight the facts of this matter, yet eBay continues to disregard its policies and/or address this matter responsibly.
A buyer has unlawfully retained our merchandise without providing any financial compensation. The buyer has misused eBay's return request service under false pretenses and has failed to offer a valid explanation for their actions.
Currently, the buyer is in unlawful possession of our merchandise, which rightfully belongs to us, and has ignored multiple requests for its return, despite us providing a pre-paid return shipping label. It appears that eBay does not thoroughly investigate these matters or prioritize lawful practices. This situation clearly violates eBay's policies, and we are entitled to a refund of $24.99 under eBay’s seller protection policy. This is indisputable.
We insist that our funds be refunded via a check mailed to our address, as eBay has repeatedly demonstrated an inability to responsibly handle funds that are in or have been added to our account. As a result, we will no longer conduct business with eBay moving forward.
Despite your eBay store's clearly stated policies regarding merchandise and returns, eBay will automatically refund a buyer if they claim the item is "Not As Described," without requiring your authorization. This occurs even if the buyer cannot provide even a basic explanation of how the item received differs from the item listing description on eBay.
Additionally, even if the buyer returns the merchandisesomething eBay does not mandateyou will still incur costs for shipping the item initially and for a prepaid return shipping label. To make matters worse, eBay now allows buyers to leave false, damaging, and defamatory negative feedback about your store and you personally, without any evidence of wrongdoing on your part. As a seller, you now only have the option of leaving positive feedback for buyers or reporting them, but from my experience, reporting does not effectively address the issue, the matter, or the buyer in any way.
So there is no feasible way to warn other sellers about these problem buyers. It's important to look at a potential buyer's feedback history before completing the transaction because there are predators on eBay, and eBay will provide no protection if you become another victim of eBay's policies that not only permits illicit practices by buyers but are actively complicit in them.
Some buyers are aware of these newer policies that were put into place in desperation by eBay in an attempt to compete with Amazon, which solely favor the buyers, and buyers take full advantage of them. eBay not only allows this behavior to continue but is complicit in buyers' schemes to obtain merchandise without cost.
The burden falls entirely on the seller, so potential eBay sellers should proceed with extreme caution, because eBay will steal from you, too; it's just a matter of time.
We have been involved in e-commerce businesses for over 15 years and have experienced great success on our websites and other online platforms, along with maintaining a respectable reputation. Our recent, short term, endeavor into selling on eBay was trial run and has rather quickly led us to end our relationship with them due to their allowance of individuals, buyers who lack integrity and ethical standards, to bully, harass, defraud, and misappropriated merchandise from an honest sellers without financial compensation to the seller, with eBay complicit in these actions every step of the way.

eBay has absolutely gone so far on that pendulum towards the buyer that they have forgotten without sellers they have no product. Seller protection is literally a joke.
You really don’t have any recourse and you can take out all the way up to the sworn affidavit. It doesn’t matter matter at all, comes down to a tracking number and if it says delivered or not. The actual problem is you can speak to 20 different customer service representatives, and You will get different answers. I get they don’t trust me or my word.
The problem is with a company that large when I’m relying on them to tell me what to do I should be able to trust them.

I absolutely agree. eBay actively encourages buyers to use the return policy with an INAD as a free for all.
They can guide me on 19 phone calls. I never received my bag back. I refunded the buyer two dollars. I was charged $66 in fees.
They’re already adding taxes and shipping into their percentage that they take. You have to advertise at whatever percentage to get Your item even viewed.
