I made my order and expected delivery time was shown between 8/29/23- 9/2/23. I have my small baby with me to travel and needed the mattress for her crib to spend a night in our new leased apartment.
It was long weekend . We ended up staying in hotel and spent $280 for 1 night only because it it was book at a very last second. So one small crib mattress that was supposedly to be delivered didnt arrive even after a day or 2 so we ended up to stay 2nd and 3 nd day in a hotel. I cam back home (old) and since it is state to state move we have arranged to permanently move in 2 weeks.
And have no clue if that item will stay there by then. ebay has no support at all and neither seller and nor ebay helped me with the issue. When I wanted to close my account the rep Rae was happily guided me how to close long term customer account. So RAE , the rep dont care about retaining customer relationship .
Stay away from EBAY.
This company is used to be a perfect place to purchase whatever you could find in any online market and I personally felt very protected but not NOW
Dont buy anything from the seller tailstories. The seller is not sending items on time and has no solution to offer.

Although I provided eBay with the email from USPS that the carrier deliver my package to the wrong address and could not get it back, they denied honoring their “eBay Guarantee”. eBay stated because the online tracking info states IIt was delivered to my address. Then...
They chose USPS, I didnt. USPS provided a report of their investigation and stated clearly the error was by their carrier. The seller is bogusly claiming to stand by the tracking info but not the investigation. eBay is supporting them.
The seller stated in an email to me that they believe I did not receive the package in an email to me after I provided them the USPS email about what happened. This seller is a dishonest and unethical business because it knows the truth and refuses to refund my money. eBay is nothing like Amazon or any other ethically sound online business because it operates as a Buyer Beware strategically positioned business. But, eBay falsely claims to have a Buyer Protection program to prevent these types of actions but it seems they are dishonest and misrepresents the truth regarding transaction protection for the buyer.
I will be contacting the U.S. Dept of Commerce and other governmental entities that will launch an investigation into deceptive representation of online businesses.

Verified BuyerA buyer 'jumar_2442' purchased the Bird/Magic TOPPS RC from me on 8/22/2023 for $2,800. One minute later 'jumar_2442' began swnding me a litany of text messages accusing me of fraud multiple times.
Someone purchased a Magic/Bird rookie card from me, then said they didn't and is now SLANDERING my name all over the internet.
A buyer named 'jumar_2442' purchased the Bird/Magic 1980 TOPPS RC from me for $2,800 at 2:38pm EST on August 22nd, 2023.
At 2:43pm EST on August 23rd, 2023 I recieved another message from EBay stating that 'jumar_2442' PAID for the Bird/Magic RC
At 2:44pm EST I received a message from EBay a buyer wishes to cancel that purchase.
At 2:45pm EST I received the following message from 'jumar_2442':
"This is fraud. I never even approve this.
I dont understand how you could charge my credit card. Im contacting eBay and my credit card to let them know its fraud."
Still at 2:45pm I received the following message from 'jumar_2442', this time it included previous messages 'jumar_2442' sent to me a few days before :
"You better cancel my order this is fraud. I never even press purchase or approved it."

"No problem but thats crazy. I didnt even confirm to pay and you charge me ASAP. Every time I buy cards I have to go through a process to charge my credit card. You automatically charge me without even confirming for letting me confirm."
Still at 4:00pm, EST, after I explained to jumar_2442, that I don't have the money to pay $410 on fees.
Another message from 'jumar_2442' at 4pm:
eBay fees for making money thats why I already confirmed with eBay to cancel it and I already checked with my credit card company its pending then theyre gonna cancel it."
Still at 4:03pm, EST, I received the following message from 'Jamur2442":

If I never received the card yet I never even purchased it and you charge me for something I didnt even agree on.

I received several more message from 'jumar_2442' that increased in their abuse and hostility to me.

I called eBay services I listen to all the prompts it sent me directly to this guy Harry we spoke for 20 minutes I told him I wanted to purchase a car from eBay he told me when I get my invoice to call him directly so he gave me another phone number to call as soon as the invoice came in so a couple days later I got my invoice and I told them I just need help to make sure everything goes safely and I wanted him to check the invoice to make sure everything was correct so he told me everything looks good and he directed me what to do he told me to buy for eBay cards for $200 each I went to the store I was only able to find a couple eBay cards I got $500 worth he told me its OK I can purchase target gift cards so I bought $100 Worth of target cards he told me to wait a few minutes after I gave them all the card numbers and got back to me and told me there wasnt enough money it didnt go through I needed to send more money that he will refund me me saying OK this is a guy that I got transferred to the other day so hes definitely an employee I didnt call him before hand he didnt call me before hand I called eBay and it transferred me to this person again he told me his name was Harry he was a Director of billing so I feel that he was telling me the right things I told him I only have so much money because this is a gift I have to buy a car I am disabled it was all the money I had in the world I am by myself I cant work I dont have any income this was money sent from my family to help me out to buy a car cell I did get $100 he checked it out again he said not enough I need to send him 300 more dollars I told him I cant do this this is all the money I have I have to get the car the insurance and the registration I cant send you all my money he told me not to worry as soon as I have the $1200 all sent he is going to reimburse me the 400 and the $800 to go towards the car purchase it dont worry Ill make sure youre very happy Im gonna get your money back to you you dont have to worry so I got the $300 in target gift cards and I sent it to them gets back to me 10 minutes later and he says OK everything looks good just one more thing Im going to refund you but I cant refund you unless I can refund you over $1000 so you need to send me another $600 and thats when I knew something was up I said listen this isnt right this is a scam and then he tells me no this is not a scam I dont need your money I have a job dont accuse me of being a scam artist Im only trying to help you you called me you asked me for help I said I called you because I called eBay and was transferred to you and you gave me a phone number so I can call you direct to buy this car I said do you understand that I am a disabled I am 53 years old I do not have a job I dont have any I finally did get my refund and everything is resolved. I had to go through a lot of hoops and time wasted and that is why I only increased the stars to 3 stars from 0 stars. When buying from Ebay you have to do so knowing that there are always risks involved.
Today, which is the same day (later in the day) of when I wrote this review I received more than one email stating:GREAT NEWS!! **MUST READ**…You Won on the Case! SR# xxxxxThe message explains in so many words that they followed up the facts in the case and found that...
I purchased a used printer of a type I already own because mine had became unusable (something mechanically broke inside it).
Since I liked that (older) model HP I decided to buy one I found on Ebay and use my already stockpile of ink and print heads to service it - bringing it up to a usable state.
The listing from oshysales: stated:
HP Officejet Pro K550 Color Inkjet Printer (C8157A)
Powers on(need servicing )
NO RETURNS. (Note: Even no return sales are returnable if the listing is not as described as per Ebay's guarantee policy)
There was an Ebay notice that stated:
Shop with confidence eBay Money Back Guarantee
Get the item you ordered or your money back.
After purchasing and receiving the printer ($200+) I plugged it in
and as soon as I touched the power button there was a loud pop
and smoke came out of the carriage. I looked in the carriage and could see no burned wiring etc so it most likely is the board that is installed in a difficult place to get to. The bottom line is that the printer is JUNK and totally not serviceable.
This is way beyond "Needs Servicing". It is in the "Needs Expert Repair" column.
So I contacted the seller through the Ebay portal and heard nothing for 2 or 3 days. Then I called Ebay, and after much robot trickery finally got live support and explained what happened. She told me not to worry and that I should wait for a return autho from the seller and return it.
I explained that the seller did not respond to my ebay texts.
A day or so later I get an email from the seller bascially saying that the listing was correct and that he would not take it back. Then about a day later I start getting phone calls from an unknown number and because it was repeatedly calling me I answered it.
It was the seller! The seller wanted to talk to me regarding my complaint OUTSIDE OF THE EBAY ENVELOPE which is completely against Ebay policy. So I told him, sorry but we can not speak outside of the Ebay envelope and to write to me inside the Ebay portal instead.
He still called me back 2 or 3 times after I kept hanging up on him.
I then called Ebay again and went through the rigmarole to talk to a live person. I told them (her) what happened regarding the seller contacting me. She once again she apologized profusely to me said, "DON'T WORRY, EVERYTHING WILL BE TAKEN CARE OF, you will get a return autho in your Ebay mail in a couple days, if you don't get one then contact us back".
After about a week or so since I heard nothing from them I figured everything was as the representative said, "taken care of" so I go to check my email and low and behold and email dated 2/29/24, I get a message from Ebay stating "Your return is approved - what to do next" with an explaination of how to return it. then I notice another email sent on 2/30/24 stating:
"We're sorry that you had a problem with your purchase.
However, the seller described the item accurately and buyers can only get a refund if there's something wrong with the item.
After reviewing all the details of this case, we determined that you won't receive a refund."
WHAT?
And of course they do not receive replies from their death-to-customer emails and when trying to re-contact them by phone it is now impossible (for me) to make a connection with a live person.
To whom might be warned, this is what Ebay has come to. Therefore from this day foreword I will do my best to purchase from other sources, other than Ebay and if I ever purchase from Ebay again due to NO ONE ELSE HAVING THAT ITEM, I will do so with the knowledge that Ebay does NOT honor their "Ebay Money back guarantee".

Ebay still holds my funds hostage when the credit card companies have made right, what I was originally fraudulently charged. I've Done nothing wrong and you want to hold my funds for 170 days? Completely absurd and disgusting of a billion dollar corp to deprive me of...
Here's my proof even if I did authorize the charge and didn't request the shipment be stopped by seller before it ever left his possession, I then placed a postal hold on it so a almost $900 item I didn't authorize or need/want in any way was never in my possession but at the postal office.
His listing Description matches the tracking which, also matches the tracking number on the pictured envelope that was required to be signed for so of course it shows delivered..
But Please someone tell me how a computer listed in the photos only weighs 4 ounces and came in an envelope with such small dimensions?? IT CANNOT NEVER WILL

It's better that I post the message of the entire situation than me try to explain it. Return window was closed on October 19th. Which it was never shipped and I never received it.
I took pictures of the conversation, and the response we both had. I know that none of this will work in my direction. But I think people should know so they want fall for there situation. Product is still listed as thought they have in stock, and shows there still selling the product like Walmart.
I say if you don't have the product available and it hasn't been available or in stock you shouldn't prolong the delivery nor attempt to sell the product you will never stock. Please whatever you do, don't buy from this provider... AT ALL. And Ebay, that's another situation.
I love Ebay and I've been dealing with them for what I think almost a decade maybe, its been a very long time. But they should have a way that you can contact someone physically and personally. Not automated, there's people that don't like that, especially when there upset about a situation that it seems as though someone has stolen money from you. This situation could have been prevented.

I wish I could post the entire conversation I have a total of 27 of the conversation. Which was no closer of me receiving the part nor a better way of receiving my money back to the penny that they owe me plus me cashing a check for that amount. I do have a way now to receive the money on a different card. But like I explain and show, it doesn't look like I would actually get it in a timely manner from them.
I even tried to call them. one number on their web site doesn't work. The other they don't even pick up at all after several attempts and the short amount of time to call them. I even went in the direction to try and email them and asking.
No response at that end either. So It's not like I haven't been trying. It's my $325 that I want back. Without losing a dime or penny of that money, it's what I worked for.
Like my father say " You don't mess with someones money, nor there family" and the way I see it, this on the other hand... It does, it's my money. and being if I had it and not the part, It would and could help my family directly.

I get a message from pissed consumer, they mentioned get a one on one legal attorney. I say this...
"Lol, so either way in order to get an attorney for $325 I will have to spend an attorney to actually get the money which will cost me the same or more money to do it.
That makes no sense at all. All they need to do is either give me the item as agreed on or give my money which they knew they couldn't fulfill when the put that item for sell on the market after so long. I should not have to spend an extra dime to have my money back or go through this frustrating situation. They need to get on Ebay sellers and correct this matter before it happens again.
I guess that means they all can do this to a customer and get away with it.
So what is Ebay really good for... The consumer or the SELLERS (they do make them money) way to go.

A seller that's supposed to be selling things on eBay drop ships and item that I ordered that he got an item from Amazon and then double charges the price.. which to point out he has broken eBay policy because he dropped ships and item and double charges on the item..
so when I want to return the item by UPS UPS says I have to pay to return the item even though the seller shipped me a return label each they say it doesn't matter if I can print it out or not that either I walk to the UPS store to drop it off or I get stuck with being double charge on that item which I feel I deserve a refund and not have to be jerked around by this evil cellar that drop ships and then double charges the eBay buyer.. eBay for some reason will not listen to reason that I am disabled I cannot drive to the post office or UPS to drop off the package I cannot print it out because I have no printer. And on top of that UPS wants to charge me to pick it up anyway was that sucks in its own right! I demand a refund and an apology from the seller and by eBay!
And if they don't want to accept the return fine then give me my money back because he was unfair and broken eBay policy!! By drop-shipping which is against eBay policy! He sent me a USPS tracking number but it was not a USPS tracking number that shipped my item it was UPS! And both ups and USPS mail both had the name Amazon next to the tracking number.
If I wanted to buy something from Amazon it would have been from Amazon. I chose to purchase from eBay so the seller is playing all four of us like Dum dums he's stealing from Amazon he's stealing from eBay and he's stealing from me and using USPS and ups to do it! And he's implicating Amazon and eBay! I posted screenshots of different tracking numbers and USPS tracking numbers and UPS tracking numbers.
The total of my charge was Amazon sells theirs for $12.95 the seller from eBay is drop shipping and double charging on his buyers. The seller's name is sonnyw_36. Think about it please why should I pay UPS and transportation money to go and get my refund for something that a eBay seller rips me off with and double surprise because he dropped shipped an item? No!
I don't feel that I should have to pay UPS anything.. and why should I even return it to an eBay seller when he took advantage of eBay Amazon and me at the same time that should have gone back to Amazon which FYI I let the seller of Amazon know that the eBay seller is ripping the seller off at Amazon so they all know what the sellers up to. And they're still allowing that seller to sell on eBay. Even though he is broken eBay policy yet I have to pay out of my own pocket to have a UPS truck pick up my package and it cost me $8.99 for them to pick it up that's not fair and it's not right and it's own right that seller deserves to be fired for what he did!
We are not going to allow him to get away with it it's either they do something about it or I'm leaving eBay and I'll just shop at Walmart for now on just saying I'm getting sick and tired of people screwing me over and think that I have to like it I don't have to like them at all as a matter of fact. They think that I could get screwed over and just enjoy it like it like they can do whatever they want to do and I have to sit down and lay down and take it I don't freaking think so they can kiss my *** on that one.
