As an eBay seller I take pride in providing my customers quality service. However, I sent an item to a buyer and the buyer claimed it was damaged and wanted to return it.

After multiple threats to turn me into eBay and give me bad reviews, I gave a full refund and contacted eBay about the issue. Once I paid for the item to be returned, the item that the buyer claimed was unable to be assembled, due to the damage, was indeed able to be fully assembled! I contacted eBay again reporting the buyer and asking what happens next, since I gave the full refund, but should not have had to do so, with a false claim.

No one ever contacted me and they took the refund out of my account quicker then I could of imagined. Very disappointing and therefore took other times off that I had on there to sell.

User's recommendation: Hard to sell online because they do not protect their sellers, only buyers.

Monetary Loss: $110.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
