Today I found out that eBay favors some sellers when they get in a dispute. The feedback portion of their site is supposed to help people determine who they can trust to do business with.

Unfortunately, you can't trust eBay not to change or delete that feedback, no matter how accurate and truthful. Once they delete accurate feedback, they will not allow it to be made again. They specify reasons as to why feedback can be removed. They don't tell you it can be removed because a seller, even one who does not deliver as promised, can simply complain and have it removed.

How to trust any seller when you can't trust eBay to leave accurate feedback on sellers? I've had to go through my CC several times to get refunds from high rated sellers when eBay would do nothing. Bad items, not as described, not received because never shipped etc. eBay appears to have favorites.

There is no way to know who they are.The feedback system is bogus.

Review about: Ebay Marketplace.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Monetary Loss: $90.

Preferred solution: eBay should have a consistent honest feedback policy..

I liked: Good vendors with accurate descriptions and products.

I didn't like: Terrible customer service.
