I purchased an above-ground pool off of eBay from a seller (yoge40) on August 12, 2025. On the seller's page on eBay before I made my purchase, I read every detail, and it said the pool was guaranteed free 2-4 day shipping and was also covered by eBay's 'Money Back Guarantee,' so if the seller did not ship my item as they said, or if any other mishaps should happen, I would be entitled to a full refund plus shipping costs if applicable.
Well, eBay is not an honest company that follows their own policies; they use to lure people in to purchase stuff off of their website. I paid $739.92, which was taken from my account immediately upon pressing the purchase button. I received an email the next day with a tracking number for my package, which I used to follow my package and to be sure I was home when it was going to be delivered. On August 15, I received an email from UPS saying my package had been delivered.
It had been delivered but not to me at my address. I immediately called UPS to report the situation and find out where my package was and was informed that my package had been delivered to someone I had never heard of and that the package was addressed to her name and address. I looked the person up and found her contact info to explain the situation because at this time, I still believed it was a mistake. I left a message for her and received a text message with a photo of a box that had the same tracking number I was provided by the seller on it, and it showed the shipping label with her name and address on it as well.
The text message said that in the box there was 5 alpaca fleece, not the pool I had ordered. I contacted the seller asking them what address they sent my package to without telling them I had proof that they didn't send my pool and got no response. I contacted eBay and explained the situation and asked for a refund because, under their policy, I was entitled to a full refund as the seller did not ship my item and they provided me with a tracking number for someone else's package. I received an email back after a few days that said they contacted the seller, and the seller told them my item had been successfully delivered to my address and to me specifically, so they were closing my claim.
I told them I wanted to appeal their decision and told them I had proof to support my claim, which the seller could not have possibly provided to prove they sent the pool to me, and I offered to send them the proof, for which they sent a link to upload the proof that I did (multiple times). They still denied my claim. They didn't honor their own money-back policy and instead told me to check with my neighbors to see if they picked up my package. The pool was not the weight of a Doughboy pool, and a single person could not have lifted it without a backhoe.
They gave me the runaround until the return window had closed. Then they told me I needed to contact my credit card company for a resolution, as they would not be helping to resolve this matter. They did not remove the seller either, so watch out for yoge40. I did not appreciate eBay's dishonesty or their unwillingness to honor their own policies.
I had been a loyal customer for years, but after this, I will never shop with them again, and all of my family stopped using them as well. Now I'm speaking with a lawyer about the next steps. What a nightmare! All they had to do was honor their own policy and return my money, and everything would have been fine, but they refused.
Valuable lesson learned: never believe what is advertised and don't do business with shady businesses. What a headache!

The seller items are returned but they still have my $1,300.00 in cash for the purchase. I will need help getting all my money returned.
They currently have the $1,052.00 for the order + $260.00 additional cash sent later in the transaction. The return request will cover the purchase, but I need help getting back the additional $260.00 from the seller, as well.
I ordered goldbacks twice and each time the order is short and the seller doesn't allow email communication. The orders are 20-1429*-***33 and 03-14***-*****.

I was on the phone with managers, staff, and leadership from February 13 to March 7, and during that time, I was told that manual corrections had the final say. I’m requesting the release of the funds to me in my favor.
At that very moment, they decided to suspend my account permanently. I’m okay with the suspension. I find it odd that they waited until the same moment they released the funds to me to suspend my account, so now I can’t access them. I’ve been told it could take anywhere from 90 to 120 days, and many agents say it could even take up to two years.
Once that period passes, they’ll send the funds to my local treasury department. The amount is $109.
I sold an autographed jersey framed. I was worried so I contacted them and I want somebody to get it say it was messed up wasnt the right thing after they switched to Jersey out the gentleman got the Jersey about three hours afterwards he did exactly started to clean that. It was damaged. He ended up breaking the plexiglass out of the frame, communicating with them regularly a few hours a day since 13 February this year until March 7 battling with them the one thing that is consistent with the eBay customer service people seems to be their inconsistencies and lack of knowledge of the current situation or willingness to look into it before they respond Ive had multiple agents expose what over 40 people probably not one of them said the same thing.
It was all over the place. Finally, I get on the phone with a manager them as well as five other agents informed me they apologized and they were worried they were gonna take care of this. It was an we refunded the guy $30 after that there shouldve been no issues and he wasnt supposed to be able to appeal. However, he lied to the agent who answered that agent didnt look into it.
Cynthia appeal in the pictures and he ended up getting approved. Fixed everything manual corrections had to get involved. They are apparently like the hierarchy when finances are involved if it goes to them, whatever their decision is is final communion kickbacks wouldnt me my money. I had a manager even give me a partial release at one point the minute that they completely release my money mind you this was over a amount of time.
My account was fine the same moment they released it it suspended my account indefinitely and holding my money. Its $109 in there with that one being said Ive had agents. Tell me I have to wait 90 to 170 days then Ill get it to me. Ive got another agent tell me its gonna take years then once thats your passes go release it to my local chary department.
I really feel like this is not even the real world anymore.
Ive never seen such poor customer service over to accompany like that $109 is a spitting in a bucket. I didnt sell a used Corvette from 1952 or something.

- - Evri left the parcel in a public spot outside my office and it was stolen.
- - eBay refused a refund, calling the first theft goodwill.
I ordered a Christmas present that Evri left in a 'safe location' despite me absolutely not requesting that. The safe location was outside my office building on a public road.
By the time I arrived at the building, my parcel had been stolen. This is the second time in a number of months this has happened due to Evri's negligence. After contacting eBay, they have refused to offer a refund, stating that the refund offered for the first theft was an 'act of goodwill' and that I personally needed to ensure that packages were delivered to me. Evri leaving the package in public is a violation of the ToS and thus voids the delivery; eBay stating that the delivery was successful is an easy out.
I'm still without the package and now £70 down.
I've attached the 'proof of delivery' as well as photos showing the empty space where my package was left, as well as a photo of the busy public street. What a joke.

If the seller accepts the return or doesn't reply, eBay provides a prepaid return label. Once the item is shipped back, the tracking confirms delivery.
The seller issues a refund to the buyer. If necessary, the buyer can directly escalate to eBay to review the evidence and refund.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I received all money owed , my account reinstated and a apology. Did everything I possibly could to apply pressure to make them do the right thing.
Sold a 20-year-old product on eBay for $1,900, received positive feedback, and ever since I called questioning eBay's hold of funds for 3 days, my account has gone from suspended to closed to an apology for closing it to fully reinstated and then, come payout time, back to suspended and being asked to provide receipts for items 20+ years old. Money was desperately needed for the unexpected death of my father, but eBay is simply keeping my money because they said they can!

I purchased a laptop on eBay on 04/15/2022. I upgraded the iOS and received a message from Apple that Royal Caribbean Cruises owns the computer.
I am locked out of the computer. I have contacted eBay customer service and the seller, and no one is getting back to me. I will file a police report, and perhaps you will take this seriously.
This was a $2000 purchase. This constitutes grand larceny!

Sold counterfeit gold back items- traded fake for authenics

I was sold an incomplete set of gold backs. The set was not as described and had items not requested in the shipment.
I notified the seller. The seller asked me to return the items not requested after they sent it with the missing item. I received the missing item late and used the return label provided to send back the overage in excess items. After my completing the set, I had them authenticated only to verify that they were all fake/counterfeit gold backs.
The set I purchased did not arrive on time or as described. Now the seller has my authentic items I sent in the exchanged. They are a set of 50 - 1/2 gold backs worth $260.00 and I have plastic fakes.
I am now out of the cost for both the $1052.00 or the set and my $260.00 in authentic gold back I exchanged back to them. Please help me get my money
