eBay Took My Money Illegally!
Mar 21, 2008
Ebay complaint by Wkheathjr74
Two years ago after eBay-Paypal buyout, I sold something on eBay and was billed a listing fee, but I couldn't make payment at time because my fund in bank was limit. I figured to wait until after I get my paycheck (Direct-Deposit) to make payment. Good enough, they proceed to draft the fee out of my bank account through paypal anyway! I got mad and contacted customer service. They explained that when they made a major overhaul to the website, everything was set to default including automatic draft, but kindly explained how to change it to manual. So I did that but still boiled over Insufficient fund of $29, which I feel eBay is responsible for!

I have since sold few items and made payment for listing fee manually until recently, I sold a game on eBay. Then on March 17th, they draft a fee out of my account automatically and my temper went up off the roof because I never changed it to automatic. I was so pissed off and I feel that they stole it on purpose by accessing into my account and modify my setting/preference just so they could get my money. I believe this is unlawful access or unlawful authorizing and I seriously want to find other people who share similar experience then file our case through FBI for invesigating and possible class suit for damaging and suffering! Now I have to pay $35 insufficient fee and paycheck today (March 22) is $35 less-Not happy about that!
